Keep in mind I’ve done 16 oil changes on my car in 8,400 miles, and I reused the orings once and will never do it again. I’m not saying this will be everyone’s experience….. The one time I reused orings, after a track weekend I noticed I had some oil leaking out from the oil filter housing. It’s wasn’t what I would call significant, but it certainly wasn’t just one or two drops. When I removed the housing, the orings seemed very loose and were easily removed by hand. In my experience the oil filter housing orings don’t have the same elasticity as other orings I regularly come into contact with.I opened mine and it has no O rings. Anyone else?
Edit:
I see that is the case with everyone else. I don't see why you cant use your old O rings. They can be bought separately for about $1.00 from ford, so I read.
Same here, just picked mine up off the front porch, so happy that I have them but yes mine are missing O-Rings too. Considering the risk we are aware of using the earlier filters I had a couple I was going to use so that will be my O-Ring source for these 2 filters I got today.I opened mine and it has no O rings. Anyone else?

I received mine today and also no o-rings. I called and the guy that answered said they went through all the remaining inventory and none of them have o-rings. The guy to contact is out until Thursday so he said call back then.......which I will do and post an update.I received my filters from South Bay Ford today.
As with others here on the forum - no O rings included.
Thanks again and greatly appreciated, Tom!
thats ridiculous. whats next, is ford going to start selling spin on filters with no gasket?FYI, on the SouthBay website for the filter, it does state that O-rings sold separately. Question is, why would Ford sell them that way?
