I purchased my 2016 GT350 Tech pack from a collector. The car had never seen the rain till the day I drove it home. The collector pleaded for me to never install front license plates or go ghetto with putting the plate on my dash. Feb 2021 will mark 2 years of rebellion for me with driving with only a rear plate. So far so good! :D

How many of my Mustang or Shelby brothers/sister are standing their ground on not destroying the front of their cars with a stupid license plate?

While I realize there are no drill alternatives for front plates, I will not ever bend to them

I have always told dealers specifically to not install the front plate on my cars. I told my salesman when I purchased my first GT350 if the plate gets installed I would back out of the deal he made a phone call and bolted out of the office to stop the guy from prepping the car. I have never been bothered in 20 years of driving. and if I did some 3m double sided tape and a 25 dollar fix a ticket is cheaper than having to look at a drilled bumper

No front plates. I think I've gotten caught twice now. 2nd time I bought a removable front plate and got it knocked down to just a fix it ticket. The contraption is somewhere in my storage. I'll look for it if and when I get another ticket.

I use a bracket that attaches to my grille. It doesn't cause any damage to the car.

The way I see it if I do not have a front plate then there is a non-zero chance of being pulled over for not having a front plate. Same reason I do not tint my windows.

I want to minimize my chances of interacting with the police as much as possible.

Where I'm at it is mandatory to have a front plate but since many new cars have large grills people don't want the plates to get in the way of the design, the reg office have sport plates available to those who want to retain the front end design without obstruction.

Not a Shelby, but no front plate for me. Illinois requires one, but never pulled over yet.

No plate here and Iā€™m in Texas where itā€™s required. Have never run one and have never received a citation for it either. Got to love Texas.

I run no front plate and got pulled over once, but honestly I think the cop was bored and just wanted to look at my car. Always a "warning". I asked the officer if he planned on pulling the last 5 people that went by with no front plate over and he laughed.

Not on my front bumper in NJ. Never been stopped during one year of driving GT350 šŸ¤ž.
I purchased no-drill alternative plate holder, but never installed one.

I had a Craig's bracket on my 15' EB up in NJ. Took it off for a show and forgot to put it back on. Never bothered or stopped for it but it was always on the floor in the back just in case.

I got pulled over once for not having front and rear plates šŸ˜€ I didn't get a ticket because the temp tag (paper) in the back flew off the day before as I was driving on the highway :) I explained that to the trooper and I told him I'm waiting for my plates from DMV. So he told me to call the dealer and get another temp tag put on and he let me go. He was pretty nice.
