Can anyone out there tell me where the battery is located in this new upcoming car??? On my Redeye it was an easy hookup for the "Battery Tender". The guy who bought my Redeye Hellcat picked it up yesterday so now Iam carless until we get the order banks open and actually take delivery in the first quarter of next year.

Correct me if Iam wrong but according to Ford Performance they don't call it "Red Hot Metallic". I think that color is called "RACE RED". I love it and thats the color Iam going to go with. Yes, Iam #1 on my Ford Dealers list for a 2020 SHELBY GT 500. Iam going with that color but going to also go with the "Painted" Dual Stripes but in "BLACK". I think the black dual stripes will make the car POP much more than white stripes. Would love everyones opinion.

Was just thinking that black stripes would be so much better as well. But... that’s a deeeper, darker red, so it would look great. But I’m afraid some folks just want it to stand out more rather than be a cohesive look.

So far I’ve seen the same ones themik99 and mountain376 saw at Detroit Auto Show. I also saw the Red Hot Metallic(?) at the New York Auto Show and I think I saw a Lime Green(?) near the Ford campus a couple weeks ago. It could have been a 2019 GT350. I didn’t see the front end, but it had manufacturer plates and the new spoiler that goes on the base GT500 and 2019-20 GT350. Forgive my color call outs. I’m not well versed on Ford colors.

I saw the blue one at Detroit auto show. Personally i like the GT350 look much better. The 500 really just didn't excite me.

I felt somewhat similar, early on. Now when I see the two together the GT350 looks a bit mundane. Don't get me wrong, I loved my GT350 but that's the progression.

To each his own as looks are as subjective as it gets.

I never mentioned my preference of the colors that I have seen. Of those that I’ve seen in person, the blue with white stripes was my favorite. I used to own a blue with white stripes Cobra, so there’s a little bit of built in bias.

I've got a base on order with the Rapid Red Metallic with white stripes over the top and sides, but been debating to change it to black stripes. Mine would be the vinyl stripes and not the painted. See below this is the best picture I could find with the black stripes. I need some convincing to change my order.
