Who here has put on 4.09 gears on their 18+ 10 Speed Mustangs? Looking for input.

I know this basically shuts the door on going boosted, but I like the appeal of staying NA.

How's the difference between 3.55 gears (on the Performance pack 1) if that's what you had? In terms of street driving and acceleration? A big enough difference from the 3.55?

Also interested in feedback from those with 3.15 as well. Regardless of quarter mile times, did your trap speed increase?

For an auto car...no reason to do that at all, especially if you have the 3.55 gears already. You'll just make it harder to launch and will make the first couple gears unusable.

You want to run a drag radial/slick full time? This guy thought he had traction issues before. Lol.

Did you ever try running your car unplugged at the box yet?

Haven't felt a need to yet. The NT05Rs get real sticky real quick, probably because its getting over 90+ degrees now in Florida. I can just turn off TC completely and hook and go.

I have 3.15 gear car from factory. I purchased 3.55 PP differential and swapped it out. 3 weeks in between track hits. Car ran the same times with both gears

I had 3.55's in mine originally. Swapped to 3.15's and a 315/50/17 tire (previously 305/45/17) and went a tenth faster. Back when I was NA

I did the same thing on my 15. Love the Torsen and 3.55s.
