just stopped by a local dealer right now, they've got a bunch of 2020 gt500s including an iconic silver track pack. the base 500s have a 25k adm along with the 2020 R, the iconic silver track pack has a 50k ADM. they're filthy with all the dust and Ash from all the fires here in California...

The thread is "who has found the biggest ADM".

Isn't the name of the game to find the smallest one?

So my 25K Arrogant Dealer Markup was ok? What the hell and some how I feel better?
Nope. I did get 4 "free" dinners from their overpriced bistro, so I got that going for me. I'm gunna get the 25 dollar shrimp cocktail, that'll show them.

I paid 7. Is that awful? I don't think so. I got over 7 off msrp from my 2SS. Things find a way to even out in the long run.

Not strictly ADM but...

https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Med...delivery-first-2020-ford-shelby-gt500-vin001/

Imagine paying $1.1 million for any Mustang.
That was VIN 1. That is a collector and 1 of 1. Since it was auctioned off for a charity, I believe it is tax deductible. Yes, I could see someone with the means pay that kind of money for an exclusive car that will surely be forever infamous. Keep in mind, just because you don't have that kind of discretionary money doesn't mean other people don't. Kinda the same with ADMs.... 50K to them is like you going out to buy a cheeseburger.

Serious statement...I pray I never have the kind of money that would change me like that. There are so many good things one could do with that kind of money.
Chew on this. If one makes a billion dollars in one year, as some do and more, that’s 500K per hour based on working 40 hours per week for 50 weeks per year. That 50K translates to six minutes of a work day.

Truth.

I'd be more apt to buy more property. After all, they're not making any more of it. Then again, I'm that way now....

I'd try to take over the world if I had Bezos money. Kinda like he is, but with more tanks and heavy metal.
I know you’re joking but.....That kind of money flat out changes people, always not for the better.

Yep, write off some of the capital gains from my Amazon stock sale. The question is do you think he will drive #1 with plastic on the seats.

No, I dont think he will drive it much if at all. But I don't know the man. VIN #1 was for a good cause. I have no problem with a man of means spending an extraordinary amount of money to have it his way.
