I am paranoid about driving in the rain with my LPF kit. who, if anyone, drives their car in the rain? how hard of rain have you been in? obviously, standing water would be a terrible idea but what about hitting random puddles, have you had any trouble?

seems like ever since i put the kit on we have had rain EVERY time i have the chance to drive the car!!

I've driven mine in a heavy down pour before, without issue.

Is your belly pain installed?

Yeah if water gets in the turbos then it gets in your oil. I would not drive it in the rain. I've hydro-locked in the rain with just a low intake before. This resulted in a bent rod.

Drive at your own risk.

Just drive a beater if it’s raining or forecasted to rain.

^^^^^^ Hahahha.
He lives in Florida. The standard forecast down here is; Hot and Humid with a good chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms.
It's gonna rain and many times a real frog strangler.

Mine are low mount as well and I don’t worry at all about driving it in the rain but I also wouldn’t drive it through more than just a couple inches of water. My car is lowered and more than a foot or so of water would at least partially submerge the filters.
The filters being oiled would want to reject the water but don’t drive in too deep of water.

filters are directly on turbo inlet, under the car.

I have a Boostworks kit and have driven in very hard rain even deep water and never had any issues. It is truly a none issue.
