3.625" pulley with longtubes

Haven't posted in a long while but I put the car on the dyno the past weekend and managed to get some numbers on my setup. I did a total of 5 runs, in which the last run being the highest. The car dynoed 675 on the first pass while hot, we let it cool in between a few runs with our final run pointing the fan on the dyno towards the cold air intake feed on the driver side of the grill that feeds into the enclosed Whipple CAI resulting in 712 RWHP at the top of the pull. Overall I am impressed with the Whipple tune as the car has ran mid 10s on pump 93 with an MT82 with 3.73s.

I've attached run 1 and run 5.

I'm very interested in grabbing a fuel system in the future and getting this thing on E85 and a custom tune by Ken B. to aim for the 9s with the MT82.

Looks really close to my Dyno graph. I put down 713 HP 544 TQ on the Whipple Stage 2 tune and 3.625 pulley in November. Awesomeness me man!

Excellent! What was your 60ft, MPH? How is it driving around on street tires with almost 800HP? So many people say it's downright dangerous not running DR's on the street. Then the other half say DR in the rain is downright dangerous lol.

Nice numbers!

And driving around on street tires isn't a problem as long as you're not a dumb ass with your right foot.

What timing does the Whipple Stage 2 tune have up top?

Also it's cool to see such a good 1/4 run with the 3.73s and MT82. I'm curious as to where I'll fall but assumed mid 10s (have tracked a lot of cars).

I believe my 60' on that run was 1.56 in the quarter mile run(my best 60' on my current suspension is 1.52) and as far as dailying the car. I daily it on NT555 G2s and I can do roll pulls pretty decently in 3rd gear from a 40 and don't seem to spin if the road isn't terrible. You just have to be mindful of what you are doing, I always drive with advancetrac off and don't have issues with control. It's very easy to daily and a blast when you lay into it.

As far as timing goes, I am unsure but will try to log it next time I make a pull. I may have some logs left over from track passes a few months ago.

Yeah, 3.73s aren't too bad. I ran pretty good times N/A with barely any mods and no weight reduction so its typically the driver that makes the difference. Honestly, I'm waiting till I have a fuel system in the car to get custom tuned on 93 and E85 as I hear that also makes a difference since the whipple tune seems to have clutch protection on it which I hear cuts power for a very small time after shifts. Not 100% sure about the clutch protection part, it's just something I've heard. At some point in the future I will probably make the change to 3.31s or 3.55s.

Crazy good 60! Do you feel the G2's grip more than P-Zeros? I wanted the 555R's but they do not come in 19". Appreciate the feedback.

Haha I PM'd him the same question. I would love 555R in 19". I've strongly considered AM 20" in the rear and leaving the 19s up front to be able to go 555R. I have heard plenty of stories of even MPSS not doing too well at these power levels and I believe it. I can rip the NT05Rs in 2nd no problem.

I have similar numbers with a similar setup. Good to know these things are solid all around.

I had the stock P ZEROS and from a roll in 2 nd gear it would blow the tires off and get sideways very easily. I understand that some people daily drive their cars and need to drive in the rain so a drag radial is out of the question, but mine is just a weekend toy so I went with the M/T 305 35 19 on a 11 inch wheel. Now I can roll it on in 2 nd and it will slightly haze the tires but it goes straight, I'm still playing with tire pressure currently at 22 psi.

What temps are you rolling into 2nd and barely blowing the tires off?
I had some mickey street comps that cant hold fucking third with similar power levels.
Wonder if these MPSS I just picked up will be any better when the temps warm a bit.
If i could have 2nd gear that'd be tits!

To be honest, I drive around like a grandma on a daily basis lol, although i occasionally lay into it every now and then I tend to ease into the pull from a lower RPM to avoid breaking the tires loose.
