My tires are nearing the end of their life on my pp2. Currently its 305/30zr19's all around... and I'm hoping to go with something sporty but perhaps not quite as track oriented as the sport cup 2's.

I'm just curious what you pp2 owners went to AFTER the pilot sport cup 2.

I just got my car and haven't even broken a 1000 miles yet but plan to go with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S'. Since the wheels are so wide I've debated trying to see if I fit a wider tire in mine.

How many miles did you get out of the sport cup 2's?

I'm at like 4400 miles on mine. I don't really drive it all that hard at all. I've heard a few track days can really wittle them down.

Sport cup 2 may be amazing on the track... But last winter had me hating them.

On my older cars I went for the Dunlop direzza star specs and loved them. I don't know if they still make em and if they do... If they make them in sizes fitting these beastly wheels

Love my Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires, can't think of one bad thing to say about them, perhaps not the prettiest looking tire but that's about it, they excel in everything else.

4S is the Best overall tire i Have used for a street tire that hooks and handles curves and is good/usable to about 500 rwhp

PS4S. I'd say Hankook R-S4 if they offered them wide enough.

BF Goodrich Rival S 1.5, 200tw tire, lasts way longer than the Cup2 and tons of grip, no more tram lining. 319 ea on tire rack

Well, I dont track drive my car. I dont live in an area with extreme winters, but last year I basically could not drive my car any time it was raining, or decently cold. Even in winter traction setting or whatever, tires would spin way too easily.

If I was driving it on the track, I could see the value in the sport cups, but meh

You won't see a significant change then. They're not known for good grip overall (compared with a PS4S, Conti ECS or even Indy 500), and definitely not in the cool or wet. Not sure what the point of the thread was, given the responses all but spelled it out.
