I'm looking at getting a pair of 315/35/20 rear tires.....
Nitto 555, 555r, N05 or Invo. I have a SC 2016 GT auto w/355 gears. Traction is poor with my 285/35/20 tires. They came with my rims when I ordered them before going FI.

Try continental extreme contact sport, good for all season and traction is pretty great!

You need traxking on the vehicle then

wit a 355 on the back end
and aiming for max traction the following

305/35/20 Nitto NT555R
315/30/20 Toyo R888R
315/35/20 Nitto NT05R

Those are going to be pure sticky Drag radial and R compound tires for max grip

You're gonna want a drag radial if traction is your main concern. If you drive in the rain the nt555r is a good choice. They can be driven on wet roads without butthole pucker unlike the nt05r.

Is there a "decent" tire in a 315/35/20 size that isn't a drag radial? I don't drive in the rain, but would like something that last more than 3-4k miles and will hook better than my current ones. Are the Nitto 555 tires any good? What about the Invo line? They would have to be better than my somewhat narrow 285/35/20 summer tires I have now. Thanks!!

Would the narrower, softer compound NT555R in 305/35/20 get much better traction than a wider, harder compound 315/35/20 555 G2?
