My dealership suggested replacing the battery, they told me that it measured 226 CCA and was Rated at 590 CCA. Which one do y'all suggest?

My stock battery lasted 3 years. I bought an Odyssey and it needs replacing .

At this point I believe they last 3 years in a mustang so will buy the cheapest.

Longest warranty. You will use it if you plan to keep the car.

I was going to buy a high-cost AGM battery but decided on installing a group 47 (H5) Interstate AGM battery from Costco for $182. The only difference in size between group 47(H5) and the 96R is 9 9/16 x 6 7/8 x 7 1/2 for group 47 and 9 15/16 x 6 7/8 x 7 1/2 for group 96R. I have an upgraded sound system, thus my using an AGM battery.

I bought the DieHard Platinum AGM for my Fusion. It works well in the car with an upgraded (2 amp) sound system. They are a little costly at $275. The reason I didn't buy the DieHard for the Msutang is the 96R AGM, is the same 590 CCA as the normal battery; with the upgraded sound system, I wanted more CCA and they didn't have the Group 47 (H5) fits perfectly also; in stock.

Die Hard AGM.

Just keep in mind that if you go for an AGM you will have to use ForScan or the like to let the BCM know it's an AGM, otherwise it won't charge it properly and it may shorten its life.

I have to find the instructions to set it using the ForScan. I have an appointment to replace both cats next week, so if I don't get it reset, I will have them do it then.

I have 5 cars (down from 8), 2 tractors, a quad, a Gator, and a zero-turn mower; I spend a lot of time acquiring, installing and cursing at batteries. For auto batteries I always get Deka if I can (they supply many of the 'name brand' batteries--NAPA, Duracell, etc.--but quality may vary due to reseller requirements). They are the only brand made in the USA, by East Penn; most others are made in Mehico. They sell a 96R--exclusive to Mustangs as far as I can tell--rated at 600CCA.
