Went to the local dealer, got some generic-fit Motorcraft wipers. None of the stupid little attachment plastic piece options worked on my car.

How do we get exactly the same wipers that came on the car? I want the same exact wipers, not some generic, multi-might-fit pieces of crap!!

Looking around the interwebs, it appears as if there are "Premium" Motorcraft blades that are direct fit. And then there are Motorcraft blades with different adapters in the package, like what I just bought.

Does anyone know the Ford part numbers for the Premium blades for the 2018+s?

The above numbers are listed on E-bay, not Amazon. I don't do e-bay.

The correct ones, the ones the cars come with from the factory (as far as I can tell, I just ordered them) are on Amazon listed as;

Motorcraft WW1964 Wiper Blade
And;
Motorcraft WW2160 Wiper Blade

These appear to be the OEM blades that fit directly onto the arms without fucking around with adapters.

I'll follow up next week after I get them.

Fingers crossed.

I used the Rain X AdvantEdge blades from the local Auto Zone. So far they haven't been thrown off

I spent almost 50 bucks on those Bosch envision plus or whatever, they gripped TOO good, and unless it was heavy downpour, it would grip the glass and skip, every time. first wipe, great, 2nd wipe, dragging

I put Rain-X on the windshield. It extends the life of wipers as the water will either bead off or come off with less surface friction.

All my cars get the treatment. It's good for 1-2 strong rainstorms, then reapply. I do not change the blades every year.

Second the Rain-X. Rried it out on the stang, and now all the cars get it. Works wonders. No streaks, just a nice clean windshield.

Pretty sure I have my originals in the garage somewhere. I didn't like them and swapped for Rain-X blades early.

I'll need to check first. But you're local and can just take them off me.

Rain-X is god tier. I've driven in rain storms with the wipers off and I was completely fine...at night.

Bosch makes great stuff, been using them for years. They recently came out with “Focus” version, seems to be great so far.

I use Valeo blades and have good service out of them.
