Hey guys, I’m having a hard time finding a vendor that carries a 15% overdrive lower for my edelbrock 2650. Anybody know of an online store that carries that ati for the 6rib?

Bump. Still can’t source one. Seems strange. I emailed ati and haven’t gotten anything back

I’ve read that you can use the 8rib outer with a 6 rib belt. Anyone confirm??

Yes you can use an 8 rib without issue and you'll be ready to upgrade to 8 rib when that starts slipping.

Just curious, what boost are you aiming for? Whats your current boost?
I tried to run a 2.7” and 3” griptec. It was falling to around 11. I want to run 14 psi.

I tried the 8 rib lower with a 6 rib belt with a 3.25 pulley (non griptec) and it fell to 11psi on first dyno pull and 8 psi on second pull. I’ll just do an 8 rib setup and griptec now. I only noticed how hard the boost fell when I installed a gauge and got used to the power enough to really watch it.
