Anyone know who stocks Performance Friction 15" V3 rotors for our Mustangs?
Part number is 378.064.63/64

My friends and I have used Performance Friction rotors on other cars and they are one of the best out there. Not really any improvement for street use, but if you run you car on the track, there's nothing better and a rotor swap is literally a 2 minute job with their spring retention system.
Have searched via Google, Yahoo and one other search engines and can't find any dealers carrying this item. Thanks

This question comes up periodically. I believe Rouch had a custom run of rotors made a few years ago, but they were only for Rouch use and I believe are unavailable. Performance friction will produce them with a minimum batch order. I don't know what that number is.
Optimum Performance tried to put together a group buy a while back, but didn't have enough interest.
See this thread.

PF does not support their product. For some reason Mustangs are low volume. They make these rotors off the shelf for porsches as an example.

I think it was OP Mustang who was doing a group order for the rotors but they did not get the minimum 10 sets to make the order. What we need to do is get enough people who want these rotors to do a group buy. We need to get someone like OP to do the group buy for us and place a deposit so OP does not get screwed and we can all get rotors. The PF V3 system is the best I have ever used and I have raced on bremob, Stoptech, and Girodisc 2 piece rotors.

I talked to PFC this week and they provided the parts numbers. I didn't ask who supplies them (didn't now they'd be so hard to find) and I've looked at most of their distributors and can't find any.
The parts are listed on their web site.

One of the guys out of Cali (?) is a big seller of PFC and does mostly Porsche and he too said, 20 pieces needed before PFC would do a production run. I *think* the rotor rings are one of the common Porsche size so that's not the problem, it's the hats that are the problem.

I think you're right. The rotor rings are something like 378x34 which is a common size. Hats are the other question. Seems like someone could make a CNC run of the hats, but it could be no one is interested in these rotors otherwise there would be plenty on the market. I think the Girodisc are basically the same cost as are the Baer.

What is the actual rotor size? Is it 378x34 or 378x32 (those are in abundant supply).

true but wrong config. The tabs and how they interface into v3 hubs is dramatically different from how every other supplier does it. So we need a compatible v3 rotor donor.

Edit: well crap, I should have looked harder.

378.32.0060.451, 461 are the naked rotor rings I think.

a little cheaper here

a lot cheaper here

I'm not clear on what the differences are between above and this series: ok the 60 is pad sweep (mm) vs 54mm pad sweep.

But why does pfc say there are no rings if you can just use a porsche v3 ring????

I was told by PF I had to buy 10 rings!!!

you actually have to buy 10 EACH of the 2 SKU (left/right) so total outlay is 20 units.
Looking at the product SKU decoder the Mustang part cross-ref should be 378mm, 34mm thick and at least 60mm pad sweep. Technically it calls for 62mm pad sweep but that's what a grinder is for.

So the next closest match is 380.34.0062.451-461.
https://hinzmotorsport.com/products...ng-380x34mm-front?_pos=1&_sid=983675c70&_ss=r or https://www.ogracing.com/products/p...cement-rotor-porsche-991-gt3-cayman-gt4-front
The inside edge of the pad may overhang slightly - see grinder.

The Mustang rotor is truly a one-off, beggars belief why anybody thought that was a good idea...
