When will 2022 CFTP cars builds start?

My dealers 2021 allocation was already being built when I started to pursue a GT500....and it wasn't a CFTP. They offered me their 2022 allocation which I can turn down if they can't get a CFTP car.

My dealer is placing an order today for a unicorn....by that I mean a CFTP at MSRP! He spoke with his regional rep today and she said to place the order and she is gonna work at it to get it picked up for us. Not sure why Ford doesn't know who is getting the Carbon allocations yet.

I got tired of talking to dealers that tried to convince me that the car was worth $x dollars over MSRP. My local dealer is great to work with and doesn't pull the ADM BS. I can wait. it's 15 degrees here at the moment. Pilot Cup tires don't really like the type of weather we will have here for the next 3-4 months!

They likely sold their base allocations to other dealers.
The normal ratio is about 6 to 1.
The place where I bought mine got 10 base and 2 CFTP. The dealer kept one CFTP for himself and it’s on display in the showroom. I think he got $20K ADM for the other one, and $5K ADM for the base versions.

You can get them to give you one of these. Made me feel better when I got mine. Not sure if it really seals the deal until allocations are assigned and order banks open but what the hell.
Third Shelby I’ve bought from them in 4 years. No ADM on all three.
