I was under the impression that only the F150 with Gen 3 Coyote has cylinder deactivation. I sure hope my 22 GT doesnt have that BS.....
My Euro 22 have no cylinder deactivation, but the engine is the same for all the Mustang worldwide, so I assume even the americans doesn't have it. That would be a major modification to the engine.

From a rapid check it also does not have the newer EPA carbon filter on the intake, though I didn't completely disassembled it but just felt under the cap with the fingers.

At the end of the day man, it’s just oil. Follow the manufacturer’s specs and change it when it’s supposed to be changed or at a reasonable interval. I do every 5k with 5w-30 but plenty of others follow the OLM for 7.5-10k miles. There’s plenty of Gen 1 and 2 Coyotes out there with well over 150k miles running 0/5w-20. It’s just oil. Buy something that meets the specs and change it when it’s time.

As I've said in the past, 5W20's only real disadvantage is that it will shear down faster at high temps (like on track or beating the piss out of the car), and contaminants like soot from the DI system will degrade its protection below acceptable ranges earlier than a 5W30. If you change the oil every 5000 miles though? Literally irrelevant.

Less pressure as well. Pressure is King.
