I took a trip of about 2 hours a few weeks ago. Set cruise control at 75 and got 28.2 mpg with top down part of the way and windows open with top the rest of the way, no AC. It was a lot hotter returning home so windows up and AC on,,, I hit 30.2 mpg until I got into city traffic.

You need to get those RPMs up to about 6500 or so and let her rip :)
Man, coming from the 6k redline of the 392, I'm still not use to this 7200 redline. Anytime I get over 6k internally I'm screaming..."shift, you're going to blow it up...shift already!!!!".

Maybe it's the Houston air or roads but I have seen 28-30 MPG in my 2019 GT A10 with stock tune and stock PP1 wheels/tires and 3.55 gear. That is driving with selector in "D", normal mode, and exhaust in quiet mode. For me, the active exhaust setting seems to make a difference but maybe my foot just gets heavier in sport/track mode.

Those numbers were with mostly highway miles at 60-68 MPH and some brief surface street time on each end at 35-40 MPH.

I don't keep track of it but this car is quite good with fuel. I pound on it regularly when driving around when no one is looking and it uses a lot less fuel than my 2013 Camaro SS did even with the cylinder deactivation before it was tuned out.

Been on a couple of long drives and it really does well on those. Amazing that a car with this level of power can be that fuel efficient too. F*ck turbos! :)

I took delivery end of March A10 3:55 and just broke 15k…I’ve taken several road trips already. One 5800 mile trip was about 23.8….I just finished a 700 mile overnighter yesterday coming in just over 22….in mostly Sport mode running 80+ on the hiway..Also I run 91-93 octane if that matters

To my "Fellow Texan " Your 1/4 Mile ET. of 11.32 is amazing . Your mileage kinda sounds close to mine although you were set in @ 10 mph less in the 60 mph range . 11.7 to 11.9 is best I have done
in 1/4 mile time . So hats off to the "better driver " . I had 46 psi in frt. tires and 26 psi in rear with NO WATER BOX BURN OUT because there wasn't a waterbox available as my run was on a back road of great asphalt surface with a tape measured 1/4 mi. . I know it sounds kinda "RED NECK" but WE are what we are . Had two guys timing the runs and they were within "HUNDRETHS" of seconds on their readings . Course nothing more exact than a regulation Strip . But unfortunately closest is
100 miles away from my home . I know mileage is very last thing on the consideration "LIST" when buying one of these cars . I have 3:55 REAR GEARS . I wonder if 3:73 would be worth the cost and labor to try to get in low 11's .. EHHH ,Probably not . Thanks for everyone's response on a unimportant subject . That 5-6 MPG on track days is an "eye-opener" LOL ... Has anyone tried Aviation fuel ? Just wondering if that could screw up all that sensitive electronic preprogrammed
stuff under the Hood . Thnx Again folks ........Junqdawg

I average 20 or so in mixed driving. I do use the freeway for most trips. I’ll take her to Phoenix next month and see what I can do.

Make me miss my C7. I could get 35mpg easily on the highway, even with 4cyl mode tuned out. Totally different cars with different trans though….

I routinely drive from Round Rock (just North of Austin) to San Antonio (~100 miles) and average about 23-24 MPG. But I'm usually in the fast lane cruising around 85 MPH. That kind of fuel mileage is just fine by me!

Closer to ~17 MPG on a tank when in the city and having plenty of fun.

Car is a 6 speed on a 93 octane tune.

I have never reached 28 mpg here in MN but have been close - similar to your mileage. Car is a 2019 PP1 with 3.55s...
I've driven from OH to ND in fall, so before snow, got around 27-28.5mpg if I recall correctly. I think in the winter you can forget it though.

If driven correctly a manual will always get the better MPG. But manual drivers could care less bout MPG, it's more about grins per shift.
I love manuals and have never owned an automatic (that's the European in me), but manual having better mileage than automatic has not been the case for 5+ years AFAIK.

Overall, I've had long 1,000+ trips even through mountains average 27-29.5mpg on the trip...

I don't really pay attention, the last FordPass report states 10.8l/100km on a 6spd.

Unfortunately not the case anymore - a majority of autos these days will out-mpg a manual any day since automatics are more finely controlled, plus the increase to 8/9/10 speeds. Years ago I'd completely agree with the 4/5/6 speed autos offered. Smiles per gallon cannot be beat though, I don't know what I would do if I bought an auto...

I've peeked at some GT 10 speeds that showed up for service and last averages I've seen mid 20's to low 30's, not bad IMO. Better than my car and I have half the cylinders!

Thanks for your " Pleasant" reply. No need to get angry ,just don't answer !
We got enough anger in this world over a lot more important stuff than gas mileage .
But Thanks anyway for your "imput" . Junqdawg
