Curious to see how much you guys are paying for an oil change at a dealership. I'm located in the San Francisco Bay Area and I took my car in for an oil change recently at Walnut Creek Ford as they have a good reputation for servicing GT350's. They charged me $227 for an oil change.

Everyone out here in CT wanted $160-180+. I called every Ford dealer near me.

160 is fair if you don't bring the oil and filter. However, if you did then you'd spend 100 max for the oil and filter. Let's pretend it's 20 for their 1 hr labor. OTD for 120 would be your best case scenario.

I'm in metro Atlanta and paid $187.73 for an oil change back in January.

what a rip off. about a $100 more than they should've charged. and if you can do it yourself, materials is about $90.
Yeah, I felt that the price was high but wanted a reputable dealership as this was my first oil change after buying the car used from a private party. I have a local ford dealership near my place and went there for an estimate. The service contact looked at the car and said that's GT 5.0 and I'll be back with an estimate. Long story short I ran out of there. Stay away from Livermore Ford....they have awful reviews.

I'm in the Bay Area as well. Much cheaper to DIY. Most Bay Area dealers would overcharge like crazy. Also stay away from Capitol Ford.

Competent dealerships will be in the $120+ range per hour for labor rates.

I’m thinking that’s the cost of living in Walnut Creek. If you lived in Bakersfield like me, it would be about $32.50 ;-)

I am unsure what Ford Pass points equate to in dollars. Ford Pass points indicate a typical oil change for 25,000 points. Understanding an oil change for a GT350 is not 'typical' I was charged 27,200 points.
