So I recently broke my 3rd gear shift fork and who knows what else, so finally got around to pulling it. we'll I noticed a few things about my trans. Is it normal for there to be sharpie writing on a trans? I bought the car in 2019 and it had 30 miles on it. Also what's the deal with the sensor on the side towards the front? All pics I can find of 18+ d4's have a round sensor in the rear, assuming it's a speed sensor.

Gotcha. It almost looks like the trans has been worked on with all the markings and numbers on it.

Sure looks like a 2019 xmsn, with the shift sensor on the left and the counterweight on the right.

Can you elaborate on what xmsn means please?
