What's so Special about a California???????

I would buy one if Ford had seen fit to put the Gauge Pack in the dash.
I think it odd that they left it out..............

(of course I thought it odd Chevy didn't put an A/C in a '15 Z/28)

it doesn't have the performance pack, so it doesn't have it. I could be wrong, but I don't think you can get the two packages together.

oh come now Mik, Shelby's are more than that. They also have the inherent included history of having the brand of a guy that tried to go to GM before they went to Ford and paying a premium for that name.

jokes aside, Shelby's are nice cars (have to clarify jokes before people get upset). A California special is basically for a "special edition" like the Bullitt, just without the performance pack-esque upgrades. They look neat though.

I liked the CA special grille on the S197, but it just doesn't work on the S550. Also the scoops and stripes are awful.

Your right. You cannot get these packages together. The gauges would have been nice, but they really do not fit the theme of the CS.

I got this one for the already installed and tuned VMP Gen 2 setup. It being a CS didnt make a difference in the buy decision.

This may be true but, Carroll Shelby had nothing to do with the Bullitt. I can’t tell you how many times I get asked if my car is a Shelby.

Haha yeah, it was just for simplicity sake.

At the same time, im not as impressed by "numbered cars" anymore. They have numbered civics (type r) which isnt an impressive car to me.

That said, i like the bullitt more. Lol

There is nothing "wannabee" about the GT/CS. It's a historical package and a really good one at that

Personally I prefer the ‘16-‘17 CS over the ‘18+. They should have kept with the black accents (roof, mirrors, spoiler)
Unfortunately for me you can’t see them on mine. lol
At the end of the day it is still just

a GT with a bit of a different look.
