What's my 2020 base GT500 worth?

Ford dealers are the worst. Ok. Between personal vehicles and company vehicles, bought all over the country, I don’t have issue’s with dealers. Don‘t have issue’s with contracts either. Can’t speak to why some have so many issue’s. Obviously there are shadey dealers, there in every type of business. I generally bypass the sales staff in most situation and deal either with a sales manager or a fleet manager. Solves most issue’s pretty quickly in my experience.

Dealers back out of sales all the time even with a contract to buy. I have had it happen several times. ..even with regular cars and not the in demand cars. You sign "their" contract, they aren't signing your contract that says they have to sell it to you.

Oddly I have only had this happen with Ford dealerships. Ford Dealers for the most part are shtsanwiches. The dealer who sold me my GT500 is the only dealer I have had that was great to deal with.

I just did it for fun and they gave me an offer of 78-80K with 5K miles on it, I nearly choked on my cheese puffs from laughing.

Maybe I missed it, but what did the base car cost you to buy it? (ADM, taxes, etc)

I would say give me what I have into the car and sell me the CFTP for MSRP. If there is a tax offset, that should be factored in as well.

Would you be upside down at all on your ‘20 after trade? Also, the offer of $75k is them making up for them stating no ADM on the ‘22 CFTP. Just my .02

Hey everyone that chimed in thanks for all your input but I am not going to make a deal at this time, just not a good time right now. If any one is interested the car is at Access ford, black CFTP with vinyl white stripe. They offered no ADM if I traded, 2,900 for the paint protection and tinted windows, but would not come up on my trade. Good luck.
