Washed the car at lunch today. First wash since applying the ADS ceramic coat. Used ADS Shampoo+. Holy slickness Batman. Hydrophobics are outstanding as well. We’ll see how it holds up over time but so far I’m quite impressed. Much slicker and beads better than my prior Ethos coating did

Latest order from Obsessed Garage came today. New Pressol bottles with stainless tips, upgraded seals, and fluorinated bottles to prevent leeching.

So, did you end up with the steel or stainless steel tips?

I ordered one a couple months back just to check it out and it showed up yesterday.

I also got the email from OG about the rusty steel spray head and as far as I can tell, this one looks to be stainless. Tested it with water and it IS a nice spray head. We'll see how long it lasts with chemicals.

Looking for suggestions to completely clean glass on the exterior of the vehicle. Im not sure if it's the pollen, water hardness, or chemicals in the washer fluid. There are small circles all around the glass, above where the wipers reach. It's not just one car but multiple. Glass cleaner, car wash anything doesn't remove them. Im not sure if clay bar would remove these spots, as i have a double sided towel that is claybar one side and micro the other. Is that something I can use on glass, or is there a product that would remove them permanently every wash?

Clarity Crème is a glass polish, try using that. Also, if you have a water spot remover, try that as well (vinegar also works as a water spot remover).

For regular washes, after I wash my car, I immediately follow with a glass cleaner on all the glass. We have hard water here so I almost always have a few water spots on the glass. Following up with a glass cleaner right after drying the car removes any water spots for me.

Those are hard water spots. You’ll likely need a water spot remover. If that doesn’t work you’ll need to polish it.

I do have aome water spot remover. I will try that this afternoon after it cools down later.

Yeah, originally I thought they were hard water spots, but they only appear outside of the wiper range. It's odd that they don't appear anywhere else on the car. This is what was leading me to believe something in the wiper fluid is sticking around on the windshield.

Before I get mowing I took another look. So it's small water circles and film or haze that sits just outside wiper range. Happens to all my vehicles.

I've in need of something to really clean the cowl underneath the wipers as well. I get pollen from some massive trees that collects on the vehicle and that cowl is starting to get tarnished. Suggestions for that?

Is it black plastic? Is so, get a detailing brush and clean it really well. The plastic will fade and turn grey from UV exposure but there’s a product called Solution Finish. It is wiped on and buffed off to bring it back to black. You can also add Top Coat (made by same company) to seal the plastic and prevent further damage.

Yes it is. Its the matte plastic under your wipers. Upper cowl i think its called. Pollen just accumulates on the car and that plastic is starting to turn a brown and yellowish color. Washing it obviously hasn't done much in remove the stain from it. Its mostly around where that cowl drains is where the stain is starting to discolor the plastic.

It might need a heavy hammer cleaning like a bug and tar remover or alkaline wash. But, don’t let it dry on the surface and wash with a neutral soap afterwards.

The sale page says stainless steel…so I’m gonna say that lol
There was a batch that went out that weren't stainless steel, they look the same but the proper part should be non-magnetic. From what they say, about 2% of their delivery had the incorrect parts, which sounds like a supplier mix up on Pressol's end. Can't help but feel for OG on this one as they fought so hard for these changes for so long.
