@DFB5.0 very interesting, nothing like a dive into some good data. Did you test the pH of the tap water? Possibly one for the next instalment.
I'm curious to see how it affects the pH of the products when diluted vs undiluted. Based on my understanding of mains water pH ranges presumably it'd raise the pH of Descale and lower the pH of Brake Buster and I guess this could tell you the point at which a given dilution would render the product less effective from a pH perspective (as you've indicated in the case of Brake Buster).
That said, there's two issues at play I guess and both will impact efficacy; firstly the alteration of the pH level, and secondly the simple reduction in concentration. To use the example of Brake Buster it's possibly both reducing effectiveness.
