GT350 was put into storage last week (thankfully ahead of the 4 inches of snow received on Friday). Winter beater is not a true beater car. It's a 18 Audi S4 running on PA4's for winter driving. It's going to be a long 5 months until I next see my GT350.

Not a bad DD though. The S4 is only an automatic now, right?

Just slapped the winter performance tires on the Mustang and drive it through whatever. It's our go to car in the winter. The Explorer which was purchased in Florida is Front wheel drive and useless in anything more than 1/2 inch. 2019 Edge ST will likely be the new winter car when it finally arrives.

You southern folk, don't rub it in. Yes yes, we know, we've heard it all before. :ontheloo:

"I'm driving my GT350!"
"Stop bitching, move to a different state!"
"How could you not drive your car all year around? You don't deserve a GT350!"

Lick my beer battered Milwaukeean balls.

Anyway, where's the snow warriors?
I am Southern AF, currently living in North East Washington, and I am driving my GT350. I bought some Continental Winter Contact TS380's 295 squared... so far so good. Haven't got a chance to really powder test them yet. It's been 26 here the last few days, and the compound holds nicely with solid tire pressure between 31-32 psi.

I'm driving my new (as of 11/15/18) 400hp AWD Lincoln MKZ with a great big grin on my face. :)

I ordered one of the new Wrangler JLU Rubicons in June but it still hasn't left the factory yet because I apparently ordered every delay-causing option possible - turbo, sky power roof, factory Katzkin leather, etc. I'm so frustrated at this point, and keeping checking MOTS updates every day.
If they delay it long enough you can order the new Bronco instead.

And this was my 350 going into hibernation last weekend....

Drove onto the "carbag", covered it using a covercraft snuggie, then zipped the bag shut after throwing in a few desiccant pouches.

This is the "snuggie" I referred to above, so no scratches from the carbag.

uh! yeah!!!! My truck does have the 5.0, A10 and 3.55. I did not need all the bells and whistles so mine is an XL but optioned out well. Paid less than 35k. I thought it was a steal.
Some guys are running 10's with a Whipple Coyote F150 so you have some fun options.

Tom, obviously I am a hardcore and loyal Blue Oval enthusiast as I started with a '67 Cougar back in the day and will end up with Mustangs till the very end of my journey but over the last 5 decades of enjoying the automotive hobby I have come across some other brands that I have had some limited exposure to with my favorite Japanese manufacturer by far being the Honda brand.

Back in 1986 I was still in Vancouver and was weekend racing my '86 Dodge Omni GLH and an '87 Mustang LX 5.0 notchback and was looking for a daily driver and happened to test drive a very early '87 Acura Integra LS after which time I was impressed and bought that car. Put 200K miles on that car and then sold it to a friend.

In 1992 when Acura launched the Integra GS-R model I was very fortunate to purchase the very first GS-R sold in Canada which also happened to be the display/unveiling car for all of the Canadian Acura dealerships. Had a great time with that car and should have never sold it as that car is very rare today especially coming with the very first B17A1 VTEC engines from Japan.

Then last December (2017) while I was visiting my daughter in Australia when I got an email from a friend who is the GSM at a Honda dealership in South Carolina and mentioned that he was just given an allocation for a Civic Type R and asked me if I was interested in the car. After some deliberation I pulled the trigger with the car showing up last June. Obviously a totally different driving experience compared to my Boss and Shelby cars but a great driving experience just the same.

Outstanding transmission, chassis, suspension and a terrific little engine that is built in Anna, Ohio and then shipped over to the Honda assembly plant in Swindon, England.

Last year the Type R set the fastest lap time ever at Nürburgring for a FWD vehicle which is pretty cool.

Don't get me wrong I still am a hardcore Ford/Mustang enthusiast and will be that way to the very end but nothing wrong with stepping outside of the box once in a while.

Back in the day when the GLH came out I test drove the GLH against a buddies Camaro Z28 and beat him, sadly he had the lowly L69 H.O. V8 not the tuned port injected one so it was a whupin. I didn't buy the GLH, just wanted to thrash one for some fun, I had a 1985 5.0 LX Coupe at the time and the GLH gave that a run for the money for the first 1/8th mile, after that it was see ya!
