I like what I see so far. WIll have to see in person to pass my final thoughts. I definitely like that they are keeping Grabber Blue and you can get Grabber Blue Brembo's :) Hopefully they can be retrofit to an S550, that would be sweet since I just got my S550 a few months ago.

Obviously it's not for everyone. I think the design is very polarizing. You either love it, or hate it.
I was hoping for something better than this. Not sure what exactly, but it was not this. I will not be selling my S550 for this. Thanks for trying Ford.

I do like the rear but I think they should have made the section between the taillights black.
The front looks unfinished and convoluted. The interior no longer looks like a Mustang.

On the plus side, I see it has rear Brembo calipers. I wonder if those parts can be bolted directly on a GT without too much trouble? Time will tell.

Hate the dash. I want more of a classic dash design for a fun sports car.
Dark Horse= I d never own a black car, just my taste.
I could live with the outside look. I like the hood.
Overall not a big enough difference to step out of a M1.
Price point for what I d order= too high.
I gotta believe the dark horse can be bought in any color.

My two cents:

The taillights are the worst part of the not so ideal rear end.

I think the side window line on the S550 is timelessly beautiful, and changes could only make it worse.

The displays unfortunately look as if the intern had to quickly place them somewhere. Unfortunately, other carmakers have already shown that they like to honor the work of interns.
That's okay for a shopping cart, but not for a driver-oriented sports car.
In the 2018+, the speedometer display is very nicely integrated, they would only have had to redesign the center console so that the large Sync4 display fits in reasonably, and with pleasure also the rest of the dashboard, gladly also exactly with the air vents at the height of the balls (good in the hot summer).

I hope there won't be another Bullitt.

PS: Is the Dark Horse a woke black horse or more of a dead horse?
Maybe it's because I'm not a native speaker, but I think the name is stupid.
But lines up well behind the Nite Pony...

It seems like they didn't put much effort into the "re-design".

Now they have a Ford Camaro

For compression ratio to go from 11:1 to 12:1 means a small bump in hp. If the hp is better why not advertise the numbers?

Yeah, not impressed and clearly the hp is not enough to shout about, even in the Dark Horse.

And still heavy as ever, for all editions.

Maybe they should have just called it the 'Cabin' edition since their effort seems to have gone into a new interior ....

I'm curious how many Dark Horse parts can be directly bolted onto the S550 platform. It would be very cool to be able to bolt on the Multimatic DSSV dampers from the Dark Horse S.

It looks unfinished. Like a Charger front end was bolted to the S550 body and they used a Camaro/400Z rear ended.

the interior looks cheap - the center console looks like it was a repurposed S550 console.

I like the fact it’s a 6-speed V8 muscle car.

I will not be replacing my S550 daily with another Mustang next year.

Maybe it’ll grow on me?

Is it me or is there no videos with the hood open to see the new intake design. Thats what i wanted to see last night and nothing.......so far
Someone in 7G posted schematic drawing of it but the actual engine has not yet been photographed that I’m aware of. The drawing looks pretty sweet and it sounds like the surfboard cover is history.

Love it! It makes the 6th gen look old.
I had my 06GT S197 when the 6th gen came out. My first thoughts were damn that thing is wide! Fortunately over time I got to love it. Happy I have my 21.
Outside looks too European for me and I'm not a fan of the dash. My 21 has the 400A analog package (yep I ordered it on purpose that way 😀) Guess I'm just an old geezer!

Oh well, I guess this day was bound to come. I'm happy I got the last Mustang without this crap.
looks too much like my 2020 Explorer interior!

For me I'm mixed. I love that they are shooting for that 500hp mark but the aesthetics seem like they are going too mainstream.

The car looks great.... but....

The front looks like an Audi A5 had sex with a Hyundai due to the headlights and the front grill opening.

The rear looks like they were crushing an S550 and then decided halfway through that they wanted to keep it and sell it en mass.

The inside is beautiful but they went a little over the top with the digital. It would look great in a new C-Class Mercedes or a higher-end Audi A-Class, and definitely in a Tesla, but not so much in a muscle car.

If this is the swan song of the ICE V8 Mustang I'm disappointed.

Overall the car is okay. What turns me off are

1. Locked PCM
2.steel quarter panels
3. Auto start stop

These are the deal breakers for me. And did someone above really say the "For compression ratio to go from 11:1 to 12:1 means a small bump in hp" really still doesn't get it
