You and me both. My '18 convertible EcoBoost has the analog gauges, and I had katzkin leather put in so I could ditch the black for red. I actually like the outside of the new car, but no buttons absolutely kills it for me. Just makes me stick to my original plan, keep the vert, and buy a truck next time. Best of both worlds.

I was planning on keeping my 06 GT on the road. Had no plan to upgrade to newer models. Had 110,000 miles on it but the 5 speed auto checking out in 2020 was a deal breaker. Set me on the path to the 21. I love the analog gauges. The digital is cool but the 7th gen gauges are just too futuristic for my taste.

Ford screwed up my Mach 1 HP 2021 order, just outright cancelled it after 7 months. Not even a 'what can we change to complete your order?' Not even a 'ha-ha fuck you!'. Leaving it entirely to the dealer to call me, that it was cancelled.

I held my nose and re-ordered the de-tuned 2022 in Nov 2021. I got an order email, then NOTHING until Aug 19, only to say they were diligently working on it. (I had already cancelled that order in June)

Yeah, Ford can eat shit claiming in trying to market an "all new Mustang!".

Things I hate about the new Mustang: The headlights, not the shape but the 3 individual lights within. Locked PCM, wth? That hideous dashboard. You're telling me they couldn't integrate that better? The fact that you have to buy the DH to get a decent manual transmission.

Things I like about it: The hood is pretty decent, both the GT and DH. Moar Power! Ok who ever complains about more power? It's not a lot, but it's something. Flat bottom steering wheel. (Just DH?)

Meh, not worth upgrading from the M1 it sounds like. Besides, I like to wait and buy the second to last year of each model. So I'm good until what? 2027 2028? lol

I like it, but, if it's drive by wire, will require some code changes, and some up-front accessory movements?

Watching Doug DeMuro's video on it now... So far, I wouldn't trade mine in for what they've come up with... but that's just me. Need to see in person.

The one part throwing my brain for a loop is the crease through the taillights. Also, am I alone in seeing some 5th/6th gen camaro in the rear quarter side profile?

And the ac vents are straight outta the camaro!

I think the exterior looks good but I think the s550 looks better. Headlights need work but I don’t mind the Mach E taillights. Fits the s650 rear end just fine.

I'm just the opposite. I liked the S550 the first time I saw one. In fact it is the first mustang I liked since the 1968 model.

exactly the same. Every generation of Mustang looked so incredibly bad both inside and out I couldn't for the life of me explain why anybody bought them. Let alone in such numbers. Then I saw the S550 and FINALLY a Mustang that wasn't complete garbage. So I bought 4 of them in quick succession.

Acura headlights, ugly on Acura and ugly on the new Mustang. I’m old I guess because I don’t need screens in front of me every second of the day, I’m lost when they say “beautiful display” it’s not it’s a blank flat screen, that possibly yes gives you early fox body vibes but those dashes were also horrible looking.
