t probably is, but it's a lot faster than a 2017 Mustang with a tune.
With mine at 3490lbs / MT82 / and 3.73's I doubt that very much. in fact, I'll give it the hit & a couple car lengths. Even with the A10. Bet me. Haha.

I want that manifold and cai setup. I wonder how hard it will be to retrofit to a 550

Not a fan yet.
I can see where the tried to enhance the s550 lines. Unfortunately they enhanced them into a Camaro.
And the dash has lost all semblance of the Mustang, it may as well be a BMW or Audi. I'm not against technology but it's supposed to be an American muscle car not a wanna be Mercedes AMG.
For me the S550 was envy at first sight, this is not...

first thing i thought when i saw the front end was it looks like the new jeep cherokee knocked up a camaro. love the hood but the spoiler looks unsettling for lack of a better word.

Probably have to relocate a few things up front to make room for the second TB/intake. I’m curious if each intake is feeding a cylinder bank or if they collect into one right behind the TB’s.

I would say the exterior of the car, I will get used to with time. The quarter panels into the door lines definitely has a Camaro vibe to it, which on principle is not a bad design, I just question why they felt the need to go that direction. The front end head on is close to working for me, as there is a little bit of 1973 to it, on the GT grille anyway. But then with front or rear 3/4 views, the angles start to look off to me. Don't like the decklid/tail-light rework at all. I actually like most of the interior (and interior COLOR options!!) aside from the massive center screen being so poorly integrated, and even as a 20-something, I still prefer buttons and switches as well over all touch screens myself. The performance bump is kind of meh especially if the car is the same weight or heavier. Just like with the S550 I will reserve final judgement until I see them on the streets, but so far nothing jumps out at me.

The eariler linked motortrend article said it feeds separate banks. If so could be a precurser for a traditional flat plane crank.

But who knows.

I wonder if the TB's will bolt up to the new CJ manifold.

I agree with the camaro-esque styling ... flat and bland. I kind of like the dash though.

Not much of a fan even though the exterior does have some good associated with it. That dash is just butt ugly. ... it would be at home in a mommy SUV. Also, those side by sides above make it quite clear that all those 'looks like a Camaro' digs are spot on.

I'd buy the new 2023 Mustang with a V-8 with cash.

This may be the last of the ICE Mustangs.

I must have missed that article, I’ll go back and read it. Would be cool if they bring in a traditional FPC at some point. Good question with the CJ manifold compatibility. I think they would sell a ton of it works with the new dual TB’s. I’d definitely be interested

I really disliked the s550 when I first saw it. The overall improvements to the car in the '18 refresh finally got me interested. I bought a used '16 and traded up for a new '20 a year or two later. I like this a lot better today than I did the sixth gen for years.
