What would prevent you from buying the S650?

I’m still trying to find some good photos of it. On the FORD website it shows 6 models but NO S650.

S650 is the model designation, just like the 15-23 are called S550, before that was S197, New Edge, SN95, Fox, etc. you won’t find S650 on Ford’s website. The 6 models on Ford’s website are all variations of the new S650 platform.

what is the "Flex Tuned"?

It’s a tune that lets me run premium 91`93 gas or any ethenol content e85. My local gas station is e70 consistently and believe me it’s a Noticeable power increase, probably ~50hp

With all this hate for it (expected being a s550 forum), it will be interesting a couple-10 years down the track, if people are going to be thinking, wtf were we thinking, s550 rules, or they will get used to it and stick with it

I’m kinda shocked that I’m the only one who’s said anything about the auto start/stop so far, lol.

I’m sure you could eventually turn it off in the the ECU when we’re able to finally get in. But who knows when that’ll be.

There will be someone who makes a wire harness that plugs in between the switch and the car so you can disable it. Give it about 6 months. Still hate the feature. If you get a manual I don’t think you will have it, is that correct?

I briefly considered going to the Mach 1 in fighter jet gray, but could not find one with a stripe package deletion.

That are just stickers, easy removeable with a heat gun.

as i said on other posts....the interior screen Ipad thingy is total NO for me. hate it.
i stare at 3 computer screens all day, i dont want another one in my car....
i do like the exterior. also price for a GT Manual is way too high.... we are talking mustangs here not Porsche, or Lambo.... come on....this garbage about inflation bla, bla bla is just total BS.
we are being suckered into paying high prices due to their stupidity/mistakes that cost them.
plus i sold my 2015 because last year i drove all 3 of mine a total of 500 miles combined....
i dont go to car shows anymore...not that i dont want to but i am doing stuff with my kids. (who are 5 & 7) and want to enjoy the time with them. yes i can pack the family in a mustang and go somewhere but the SUV's are just easier....
i would like to get another 2012 boss 302 in Org/wht to match my Org/blk one....

I'll echo what others have said, the uncertainty and likelihood it cannot be tuned is a deal breaker, as is the gaudy double screens, they look like an after thought to me, not like the interior was designed around them. Exterior looks also don't do it for me either, all around not a fan of the S650. S550 is/was perfection.

I saw a 24 GT in person this past weekend. It was raining so I couldn't see in the interior when it pulled beside me but the exterior was I don't know- not for me. I didn't think these things were on the road yet? But it definitely was the new GT no question about that.
