I installed a sub in the trunk, but I also keep my convertible top covers there. I was thinking about it, and I’m afraid if I just leave them laying in the trunk they’re going to scratch up each other and eventually damage the sub. I recentlygot the back net that fits that holds them, but was curious if anyone else had a good system for keeping them somewhere and organized…?

I've been laying mine in the back seat from the outset and have not had any problem with them being scratched, which leaves for more room in the trunk.

After trying them once, I put them on a shelf in the basement. I put my top up and down fairly regularly (sometimes while waiting at a red light) and don't need the hassle of popping them in and out. Sure they "clean up the look" of the back while in, but not enough to bother with in my opinion.

I just toss mine in the trunk. No scratches so far.

I keep mine in an extra nylon folding chair bag with a cardboard divider beteeen the two covers.

As indicated above, I rarely use them as I also put my top up and down routinely and I found them to be too much of a bother. I use them if I am at a show or rally, but normally leave them on a shelf in my garage.

Those look nice, where do you get them from? I have a 2020 Ecoboost and keep the top down most of the summer and that would help keep it clean
mine came with the car, but I think you can also order them from Ford or anywhere now. It does great if you’re outside to keep the leaves from going inside those holes! Lol.

They are supposed to come with every convertible. If you bought used they might be missing.

I still have my plastic bags that the covers came in. Because I don't use them much, I slide them up to the very front of the trunk out of the way of anything I put in my trunk.

Did not come with my 2022 Convertible. They stopped including sometime before that. My car was ordered and they were not included. I ordered a new pair from somewhere.

Dang that's pretty cheesy of Ford for $2 worth of plastic. Mine is a 2020 bought used.

Same here. I think I ordered mine from eBay. I use them regularly. Yea, I know, $70 for a $2 piece of plastic.

They also stopped installing the engine cover on the ecoboost around 2020 also. Guessing COVID and issues with materials?
