It looks as though the JR3Z-14A411-C wire assembly has been discontinued. I'm having a tough time sourcing one and it's the last piece of the puzzle I need to get this retrofit up and running.

Does anyone have a solid source for this part?
I got mine from the local parts department. They had to order it, but I got it in three days. I'm surprised it's discontinued. We may have just been lucky and got the remaining inventory.

The one parts guy that had a partial clue and would actually allow me to talk without interruption said, "I'm showing zeros across the board nationwide, absolutely no availability at all." Having placed my order via parts.ford.com yesterday afternoon, today my order status is listed as "Back Order." Hopefully it won't be too long before this becomes available.

Just got an update email from the Ford Parts Team in regards to my JR3Z-14A411-C order:

"Thank you very much for your inquiry on Ford Parts. It looks like there has been some movement with the parts based on customers who've already placed orders with their dealerships. We show some parts are due to ship on 8/24 and 9/7, but they are not a guarantee and are just an estimated time from the supplier."

When ordering the bracket, sub and cover from Ford do they come with the needed bolts?

Not sure on this one. None of my stuff came with any hardware because I got mine on eBay. The bolts are all M8 1.25 (if I remember). You also need to add a body clip for the top bolt. And you'll want that top bolt to be black in color.

They have been rather scarce on ebay. There was an inexpensive one that came up today but it looked quite roughed up.

Although the bracket and all the bolts alone would about match the price. The bolts and retainer clips all have an MSRP of $10 each, which is rather insane.

I might be able to get a whole box of them for the cost of one OEM bolt. It's around $50-60 total for all the bolts and screws. That's probably why they don't give out the specs.

I was thinking of doing all the speakers too although there is debate as to if it is needed or not.

I haven't been able to find any info on this but are the shaker speakers a direct replacement for the premium 9 setup?
