Michelin PS4S or Chin-relli?

Thanks for someone with recent experience.

I think they get just the Pirelli's. I saw 3 at a dealership and all of them had Pirelli's. BTW, all those cars were sold.

Too bad. Oh well... I'll get real tires soon enough!

I think I may be the only guy on the entire forum that actually likes his factory 255/40-19 (Black package) P Zeros. And no, it isnā€™t because I donā€™t push the car.

I donā€™t mind them either (Iā€™ve had both tires before)

I liked my stock P-Zeros on my 21ā€™ PP1 until they were bald at 8k ā€¦ā€¦ and thatā€™s no track time and not 1 single line lock or patch laid down with them .

Thatā€™s almost the preferred outcome when the natural urge is to replace them with a set of PS4s. Back, during harder times, I had a 2006 Saabaru that I bought new with a set of Bridgestone Potenza re92s. Utter trash tires in every condition that took forever to wear.

They are good at what they are intended for, "all season". My '21 is a daily driver so I'm in wet driving conditions a fair amount of time. They are surprisingly good in rain. And I've driven in some light snow also, not bad there either.

Its actually a decent tire in my opinion. The problem is that just don`t look aggressive enough for me.

I have those tires in my 2022, has anyone experienced vibration when accelerating over 60 ? My car starts getting shaky and vibration.

The P-Zeros are fine when you first get the car. Then they wear out really fast and you get to buy new tires. Then you find out that the P-Zeros were just that. And, finally you figure out that there are as many different tires as there are colors for cars. Each with a purpose and some better than others. So, after that, all you really have to figure out is how much of your hard earned dinero you are willing to shell out, and how often, that fits in with how you want and need to drive your car.

Oh, if they are shaking at 60, get to a good tire shop and get them inspected and balanced. Tires should not shake even on an '86 Yugo. Of course, if you are doing 60 in a Yugo you should have your head checked, too.

I got P Zeros on my 22 PP as well. 3k and no complaints so far. I have driven a couple times in a frog strangler downpour and they gripped pretty good. Not bad on dry either. I don't push too hard as a rule but so far so good. I'm perfectly OK though if they are gone in 10k. I want to get some all seasons for fall and winter and then get a wheel tire combo for summer.

We are sorry to learn you are experiencing a vibration, if you would like to swing by a Discount Tire location we would be happy to take a look and assist with the issue.
