What the heck is my car tryna poop out?

yesterday while cursing around I got an error from the active exhaust. I couldn’t select any of the exhaust options but I could hear the valves trying to actuate. After some inspection I found something in my tail pipe. Have no idea what the hell it is, or where exactly it came from. It came from inside the car as there is no way to remove it through the tailpipe without damaging the valve as it gets stuck before it comes out all the way. Has anyone gutted the OE mufflers and found this particular piece? Car is catless, x pipe, and OE mufflers.

That's definitely strange...

Maybe part of the AE baffle articulator piece that has broke free?

That's from inside the header collector where it goes from four pipes to one you can see the shape of the four pipes.

Bummer... Luckily that poop-shoot is exit only.
I'd just leave it there and leave AE alone if you're going to have Ford confirm the route cause. The cause is obviously priority one.

If it's magnetic and you plan to remove it:
-Try sticking a telescoping magnet to it while using the butt of something to knock it back towards the muffler and free it from the butterfly.
-See if it will then rotate to slip passed the valve using the mag and maybe a coat hanger.
-Based on your picture it might need a combination of actuating the AE valve as you pull it through.

Hopefully it's just a good excuse for some long tubes! Good luck.
