Searched for an *almost* dedicated track car (road course). Would like to drive it 1 day a week, which requires taking the 2 small kids to school.

Ended up in my 2020 GT Premium PP1 because, small back seat, cost, performance on track and…..powa. :-)

Supra GR - (factory tuned and lowered) - absolutely loved it. No back seat, not even a tiny one. :-(

Cayman (newer) - no back seat :-(

911 - expensive for older years, +track maintenance, no warranty for the $60K budget.

Camaro - more mullet than Mustang..

C7- loved it, but no backseat. And wife said I’m 20 years too young. :-/

M2/M3/M4 - worried about track maintenance

Miata, no powa.

Supercharged BRZ, worried about track maintenance. Non-supercharged, no powa.

Lexus ISF - LOVED IT. Every bit of it, but for a 13 yr old car with 50K mi to nearly cost the same amount as a 2020 Mustang GT - ouch. Didn’t make sense.

Lexus IS500 - hasn’t come out yet, taking too long and I’m impatient. This might still be in the books next year, to trade in one of my DD’s (prob 2014 Lexus GSFSport)

Ultimately, wanted something newer, that hauled ass straight, but most importantly in corners, that was somewhat comfortable, affordable, and had a small backseat.
