Before this I drove an '07 GT for a year. I had about a $20k budget when looking for my next car.
I think after a multiple months long of searching I would likely end up with a Mustang. The Ecoboost is awesome for distance traveling, the 50 year appearance package gives it good seats, and certainly has enough kick for me to enjoy the crap out of it. After all, Mustangs have always been close to my heart.
For the record, this isn't a Versus post. I was just wondering if anyone else was considering other cars before they chose their stang.
- I thought about a 2014-16 Lexus IS with the F sport package (almost pulled on a '16 IS250 F sport before this), they look awesome but were across the board a bit too slow.
- 5th gen SS but none of them came with the specific features I wanted. They look fantastic but certainly not as good as the 6g Mustangs.
- '11-14 GT but no independent rear suspension turned me off pretty quick
- A CPO deal on any German luxury, but I knew I would be paying out my ass because reliability issues... which seemed inevitable
- A WRX or Dodge Challenger were briefly on my radar, but it seems the majority of previous owners on these cars specifically usually punish their car. Plus I couldn't find a deal I thought was great
