They don't ; they need to be replaced after about 4 years, depending how much sun the car has seen.. If not it becomes a huge hassle to remove. I have 3M now on my bumper, but never again. Much worse than Xpel, I highly recommend Xpel with self healing properties.

Excellent work man! It is unfortunate that they didn’t come exposed from the factory.... yes and also the wing... the R is meant to be special- so why not show what special looks like? You can buy a Honda Civic with factory black wheels.... who ever decided to coat them black made a bad decision... just another thing to add to the fail list.... don’t get me wrong the black does look sharp... but I don’t want to explain these are carbon fiber rims, I would want the Q of “are those real carbon fiber parts” type reaction.....I have done one set and am doing another now - first set was with a DA - this time it’s 100% exposed
