Just a heads up… have been testing Vroom since March. Offers steadily increased until a couple weeks ago and today went down a little. No change in mileage. Wonder if they’re starting to level off.

selling. if you 'lie' on the intake form they reserve the right to re-negotiate. Though they want to charge a healthy freight charge to return vehicle. I think a call from an attorney might persuade them otherwise though.

yeah, mine is clean no worries. Completely stock, a couple rock chips in paint and one in the windshield. I called and let them know about that already, they said no issues. I’m taking advantage and selling right now.

I went to Battlefield Ford today since I was in the area. Walked the lot and started up a convo with a salesmen. Told him that I am only considering this based off Vroom's crazy offer. We didn't get into all the details, but he acknowledged the current used market state and said something along the lines of "we might not be able to reach the same trade in value, but we can throw in more discounts on the new car to make it at least equal."

Their lot is full of 2020s. Mostly EBs. Seems like they bought up all the left over 2020s from Ford. He claimed the same thing.

I may go back tomorrow to test drive a 10R for the experience, but there's nothing there I'm interested in buying.

That Carbon car at Lindsey that @shogun32 posted is a the only thing in the area that I'd consider right now.

Currently I'm leaning heavily on the keep the current car option.

Redid my car today on Carvana and Vroom 27,000 from Carvana 37,000 from Vroom...what a difference! I read some Vroom reviews and I see some negative ones...just not sure.

Vroom is fine. Got what I paid for my 2017 new. Payment showed up 2 days later. Would definitely do it again if I had to. Simple and easy process. Just don't lie on the form you submit initially and you're fine.

Just for $h!ts and giggles, I thought I'd see what it's worth to the world, 44,217. That's 500 more than I paid two years ago. Someone will be getting a super clean virtually new ultra low mileage car. Hell, it's never been wet even. I may take their money and run.

How do these companies handle cars with a few mods? Shifter, cat back and such. Thanks

About 2 and a half weeks ago I had to take my DD in for and oil change/tire rotation. Long story short, my lease buyout was 33,4xx and they gave me 33.5K to take it off my hands. I now have a 21 atlas blue explorer ST for my DD

Anyway I was curious what they were selling it for, and I found my old one on their website for 37,997

https://www.autonationfordwestlake....f0a0e09af60a5143b060f920a.htm?searchDepth=3:5

It has 18,7xx miles and for the 2.5 years I had it, I had no issues what so ever. If anyone is interested, it's at autonation ford westlake in Westlake OH

My old one didn't last a week before it was sold, and they probably got every cent of the 38,000 they were asking for it.

They offered me 42k for my 2019 gt, Recaro, pp1, all fully loaded. Even has the ceramic coating on it. The car even has a tune, headers, full catback, jlt intake , lowering springs, koni shocks and struts. Warranty has been voided. Car has 24k miles so I think the low mileage is not a big factor here. They want our cars!

34K for my 2017 base PP1 with about 21.5K miles. I got it as a CPO for well under 30K before taxes right before covid hit. Now can I wait for the prices to drop down again to buy another? The inventory here in California is non existent, and buying preowned defeats the purpose lol

Kelly Blue book had a local dealer offering $42670 for my 2020 GT premium with 3100 miles. Vroom was $41700. Could have made $2500 profit and enjoyed a year of free driving. At the end of the day, I couldn't let her go. Prices have gotten so insane, a similar used car is selling for 48-50k.
