I haven't tried to see what I'd get for mine. It's paid for and I don't really want another car note for awhile. Those of you that enquired about the worth of their cars, has the car dealers bombarded you with emails or phone calls?
Vroom called me and sent a few emails. Carvana did not.

Vroom offered me 42,430 for my 19 GT 401A with 4K miles and all options but magnaride. Not bad.
They only offered me $39K, and i have 2020 w/MR.

That does seem low, my offer was 41881 but I have every option but B&O. Maybe your area?

If he's smart, he'll figure out what be can buy, and at what price, before he decides to sell.

Right now new vehicles are going for sticker +, and stock is limited. Your friend might just be heading for a really big mistake, grabbing at the brass ring of trade in dollars, when nothing else is available at a reasonable price.
Battlefield Ford in Manassas still has some good deals on current inventory. Not as good as 6months ago, but still more than $4k off.

Be careful, you might be paying sticker + for a 21 GT.
I just purchased a brand new 2021 301A, active exhaust, with the black out package in velocity blue. Car had 5 miles on it before my test drive. It took some pretty intense negotiation but I finally ended up at about $3,000 of sticker + ttl out the door. This was at a very busy and high sales rate Ford dealership in the DFW area...

Vroom offered $37500... 2018 Roush Mustang GT stage 2 with phase 2 SC, and 12786 miles. Under what I could sell it for private (Detroit area so Ford country) but I paid $50k 2 years ago. So yeah no brainer I’m taking it. Sold cars private sale before and do not want to mess with it.

good thing to have, a house payment, a car payment, and a steady job. because prices are going up, dollar may plummet or devalue some, but our payments won't change assuming isn't an ARM.

apartment rent prices are almost as much as beautiful homes now, and rent is continuing to rise.

You just summed up why the powers that be are soooo desperate for inflation. Crushing debt.

Unfortunatly it looks less and less likely. Deflation looks more likely in the medium term. Look at bond rates.
I kind of understand what you said and then dont.

are you saying deflation, will happen, and thats good? I dont know how to read bond rates. im just hoping prices start to go down soon, because my groceries are up 30-40%. meat alone is like 50%.
my wages, are stale and there's been zero increase in years.
