I got a Vroom quote for $41,000 for my 2019 PP1 GT with just under 18,000 miles. I paid less when I bought it used back in November, but that's not enough for me to consider selling.
last week I looked at new Palisades, they only had 4 on the lot, base + $6k over MSRPMy wife just sold her 2020 Hyundai Palisade to Carvana, they gave her $40,216, and she only paid $38,991 almost 2 years ago. Buh-Bye. I just checked Carvana's site. It is listed for $44,590, a full $4,700 over list MSRP price when new. Crazy!
can I put you down as my selling zipcode? This is getting ridiculous. Just checked VROOM again:
Cars will be high this year, Next year will go back to normal. Big discounts, low trad in values.last week I looked at new Palisades, they only had 4 on the lot, base + $6k over MSRP
Premium model $8k over MSRP and Top Calligraphy Model $10k over MSRP.
I told them I wouldn't pay anything over MSRP and they said = NO DEAL, they can sell these 4 over market price and not sure when they are getting more.
Went to KIA, only 1 Telluride on the lot, base model with $4k over MSRP.
I bought a Sorento SX prestige for Sticker, but got $700 more than I wanted for my trade-in (2016 Nissan Rogue that had been in 2 accidents).
Dealers don't have inventory, new or used to match demand, same with Rental Car Companies.
I Know I still paid $1-2K more than I usually do on buying the Sorento, but times are a changin!
WOW, this is crazy. just checked carvana again and now there offer is 31450! Thats almost what I paid o.t.d for my car back in august 20192017 300a package Recaro seats, 26K miles, auto trans. Paid 29991 back in aug 2019. Carvana offer is 27852
