I'd either buy a GT350R or 2014-15 Nissan GTR.

I wouldn't buy another mustang, they're way too much $$$ nowadays. I would get a Bronco or a Ranger, but base models.

No, Ford has gotten stupid with their pricing. PP1's sky-rocketing in price has ruined the value of the car for me.

Would probably look at a Honda, or used Lexus or something.

I was damn lucky to get the car I did, when I did, for what I paid.
I just buy stock wheels from someone selling.

Wow, that would be a gut punch. Also a bit of a beatdown to once again do wheels, exhaust, and suspension mods like the two S550s I've owned so far. :) I would probably replace it with basic transportation in the short term, and then start looking at options just as the S650s are coming out. I'd consider used GT350s, new or used Mach 1s, or new/used GTs. If another S550 GT I would l look into getting wrapped a unique color to set it apart.

My v6 is actually an ideal car for me, but my neighbor is finishing up an sbc powered '57 Ford Custom 2 dr, that will be for sale, and having owned several 50's Ford products in the past, well.

I don't know. If I was gonna go for a track weapon again I would probably lean towards a Corvette of M2 Comp (less weight).

If I was going to do a street cruiser where weight is a non-issue Mach 1 or GT350.
I think the BMW is really cool, I just can't afford the maintenance cost.

I'd try something else just for the sake of experiencing different cars. But, I plan to keep my Mustang as long as possible provided no unseen circumstances.

First I would spend the next 10 years crying uncontrollably, spiraling down, giving up on life itself. Then pull myself out of it and get whatever the cheapest EV is and never again be whole.

Or I'd end up in jail for beating the human that caused the total of my car.

Most likely I'd get another similar Camaro/Mustang/Charger in whatever trim worked best for what I was left with money wise.

But if your car did get hypothetically totaled, what would you replace it with? Another Mustang or a different car?
If I could find a nice new one for what I paid for this one, or less, then I'd be tempted to replace it. Otherwise, it would be a C6 Z06.

I’d upgrade to a premium PP1.

That green one is nice. Funny thing, a local dealership to me has a used Bullitt, 11k miles and a asking price of $49,9xx. Window sticker shows original price of $51,385. The linked one is $1k less, new, and same MSRP. I knew the local dealer was high, but who would buy used over new for the same exact car?

And the new one is cheaper? Sounds like a no brainer to me. Also just about every bank out there will give you a better rate on a new car vs used.
