This is a great car. I have replaced the stock Pirelli P Zero Corsa 4s with Michelin PS4S tires. Night and day! Probably my biggest complaint is Ford's use of Pirelli tires on these cars.
I have only about 5K on the Pirellis Corsa 4s. And 2Ks on the Continental DSW 06 Plus. When the Corsa 4s are worn out I will leave the Continentals on full time.

I learned how much the Coyote's love boost, and how easy it is to make ridiculous power with them.

Are those the taillight covers from American Muscle? I got a set myself, tried to install it in the wintertime when the plastic was a little too firm and F'd it up. On the very first one. Now I need to go to Home Depot and see what type of 3M tape they use to get more, re-add and re-try.

I've been looking for a set of lights like this and just swap the whole damn unit out!

Or maybe the 700+ Hellcat... not me though; 460 is more than adequate for me.

If you go scat you really need to go widebody. It's the only trim that handles good and the suspension does totally blow.

I learned that I'm glad I bought a stock GT and learned how to handle it before dropping a Roush P2 blower on it.

Needs more power now though. :p

Well, they are limited due to their pushrod OHV classic designs, which explains why the Camaro also needs 6.2L to barely edge out the 5.0L GT. Their fuel economy is also bad as my classmate has an SS automatic that only gives him 13 mpg in town; mine does 18+ in same driving conditions.
I've been averaging nearly 22mpg in my Mach 1 when I take it to work. Roughly 20 miles of hwy and 12-15 miles of town driving. Well above my expected average especially since the highway commute is not at all a flat surface, a lot of up and downs.

2 months ago I posted about how ownership of a 2021 gt premium was inspiring me to learn about vehicles and building confidence to do my own maintenance. I've since been quite busy.

  • Learned about wheel fitments and bought aftermarket wheels/tires [19x10/11 SVE SP2]
  • Learned how to jack the car up and swapped the wheels myself [Steeda jacking rails as well]
  • Learned even more about paint correction and ceramic coated my twister orange paint
  • Researched exhaust systems and how they influence performance [installed Steeda H-Pipe myself]
  • Painted brake calipers a color no one expected and learned how brakes work and how to (un)install them.
  • Got help from dad and installed lowering springs. Learned how it influences handling and stance.
I'm getting dangerously close to the engine bay, but for now am trying my hardest not to touch it on a car only 6 months old and 3k miles. So tell me, what has owning a mustang taught you? What did you think you had a good understanding of but then working on your s550 opened up even more learning opportunities?

Here are some pictures!

What's the story with the purple calipers?

I've learned I not as limber as I used to be....like when I was 16 and in and out of a Opel GT! Now that is a really small car!
