The other thread on why people stick SB Chevy’s in just about anything with wheels got me thinking.

if you had the money, or have the money, what engine would stick in a car?

I have seen Porsche motors in VWs, and Subis, Rotaries, various LSes and 302s shoved into Miatas. But what caught my eye one day while browsing parts was an install kit for a fox body. This kit allowed a RB26DETT engine to be dropped into a fox body. The RB is the infamous Godzilla motor from the Nissan Skylines capable of 1400 HP. This kit had it all including adaptor harnesses.

So what would drop in what?

Imagine a 5.2 VooDoo in a Smart car....!!!!!

Horsepower to weight ratio would be ludicrous.

Space would an issue for sure.

I actually have 3 scenarios I'd love to see (#3 I'd actually love to see, not kidding lol):

1. Nissan GT-R VR38DETT 3.8L Twin Turbo V6 in an S550 Mustang
2. GT350 5.2L FPC V8 in a Nissan 350Z
3. GT500 5.2L CPC Supercharged V8 in a 2015-20 Dodge Grand Caravan

I have more daydream scenarios, but these are currently top of mind.

I don't have any that come to mind but this thread reminds me of a fiero I saw at the car craft show in the twin cities a while back (around 2005). It had a Cadillac Northstar v8 stuffed into it. I bet it was quick! I think those motors were around 300 horse back in the late 90s - someone will probably correct me though - it was a neat little build...

Giorgio platform with a hellcrate. Just to see if it'll fit. If it does, new sheet metal to make it a Barracuda.

I would like Ford to donate to me, a 2.3 ecoboost high performance engine and control electronics, the 6 speed manual and 355 torson rear, So that I could install it in, the latest Factory Five Racing Daytona Coupe. It be lighter than the v8 in the nose, and lighter than a new mustang by allot .
Set the car up for kill on the road course and after making sure the engine oil control is up to it. Hammer it.

Viper V10 in a blacked out police spec Explorer. Everyone gets out of your way - then you get head turns when they hear the exhaust.

I'm dying 😂. I would pay to see a minivan with that setup! Now if it had RWD and flames on the side 👌

My pick would be a twin turbo built Lexus lfa v10 engine in the s550 Mach 1 with the 10r80.

When I was younger I always thought it would be fun to drop a 1.8T from a MK4 gti into a geo metro and troll honda kids.
An actual build I would love to tackle at some point is a mid 90s T-bird, yank the stock 4.6 out and drop in a coyote 5.0 with a 6spd manual. I have always had a soft spot for those Tbirds.

If it were to exist, a V10 version of the coyote would be interesting in an S550.
