Hi,

I've decided to sell my 2019 GT350. Awesome car, but just interested in something else (you know how it goes :sunglasses:).
It's black, super low mileage (2600), electronic pkg, carbon fiber, and leather seats. I changed out the tires to Nitto NT 555 G2 (305/35/19 all around), and it's ceramic coated.

I have 2 local dealers offering me 65k for it. The MSRP was $65.8k. These offers are considerably more than I paid for the car. Here's the funny part...the best offers I've gotten are from dealers.

I know the used car market is nuts right now. I don't if I'll get more 2-12 months down the road. It's hard to tell. What do you guys think?

Thanks

I'm interested to hear what responses you get. I'm not sure if the GT350s are getting more money now due to the market or the somewhat failed launch of the GT500. I think the success of the C8 has significantly impacted the GT500. So I think there is some nostalgia now for the GT350s with their manual transmissions and unique engines.

Personally I attended a Ford Performance event for the GT500 recently and went into it assuming I would be trading up my GT350R. Drove home in my GT350R with no interest in the GT500. Was it a great car, yes but it was certainly less engaging than my GT350R.

That's a real good offer. If you were selling anyway, I would strike while the iron is hot. If the market opens up a bit post pandemic prices could drop. The used car market is crazy because dealers are starved for inventory. I'd pull the trigger and move on.

If your ā€œtotalā€ out the door price for the GT350 was less, why not sell.
Itā€™ll give someone else a chance to actually drive the car.

I disagree with you on the GT500 having a failed launch or being effected by the C8, in the journalist car tour of the car back in 2019 journalist were saying that the 500 proved that what GM had claimed about needing to go mid-engine was false because the grip and dynamics that the 500 produced on track proved that you did not need a mid engine setup.

I do agree with you that the GT350/GT350R is a completely different experience and it has proved itself as desirable and to some more desirable than the GT500.

Vake (@phatjoe), if you're "just interested in something else", and you have not just one but two dealers who are willing to pay you "considerably more than (you) paid for the car", if I were you I would certainly sell now. The current window of opportunity you have will likely not last forever, so just think how you'll regret not selling and losing some profit $ you otherwise could have had. Also, you won't have to go about advertising the vehicle for sale, answer phone call inquiries, meet prospective buyers wanting to check out the car, etc., etc. since you have 2 offers at 2 fixed dealer locations ready to execute the transaction once you decide which one to accept.

Go for it while you have the opportunity to come out financially ahead and hassle-free selling.

sounds like you need to be playing both dealers against each other to max out your $$$

Just have to take a look at what dealers are trying to sell these cars for today to understand this equation. Almost every used GT350 available today is priced significantly above new sticker!

Thnx @dps , but couldnā€™t believe what I was seeing. After getting mine, never went back to search the market. But that is unreal.

I'd go into each one to talk and tell them you have an appointment at the other and see what they try...

I debated picking up a 2nd HEP just for this reason (knowing I would never sell mine :)), but didn't have a good place to store it and didn't want to keep it from another enthusiastic owner.

I think a picture would help šŸ˜. You might get it sold to a forum member in the process!
