There's been a BMW 740 parked near me at work lately. He is a few spaces away so keeps nice car protocol Last week he was getting in his car while I was ready to pull out and actually came up to my window to tell me what a sharp car I have. Took me by surprise. I usually refrain from approaching anyone in the wild Nice guy...I did thank him and talk about the stang....but I didn't return the compliment, after all, it was only a beamer and we were talking stangs! now I feel bad.

Mouth the word thanks and head nod etc, if I like their car I'll reciprocate. The worst is the picture takers and especially the video takers, I miss the 90's lol.

To be fair, you don’t see a ton of 500’s out and about and they’re beautiful cars so I understand some of the picture taking. I get that it can be annoying too.

There was a local fundraiser earlier this week (selling bbq dinners) and my dad and I happened to arrive at the same time, he was ahead of me. Outdoor drive thru line and everyone that was outside helping with the fundraiser whipped out their phones to take pictures and videos of our cars. Mostly senior citizens since this was a fundraiser for a senior citizen group, so it was cool that they got a kick out of our run of the mill GT’s.

I was out today getting my son a new keyboard and since the weather was nice took my GT for a drive at lunch hour. Ran into a couple of Mustangs. A GT that was hopped up and looked pretty good and a GT350. We all waved at each other and smiles all around.

I don't really delineate between GT, GT350, GT500 etc. When the zombies come we all die the same.

Wait, not true. I do giggle at the EBs that rev roll beside me sometimes but it's in fun like if I had a little brother that I liked to torture a little bit but when it is time to circle the wagons we all come together.

Don’t get a ton of waives on the road. (Not surprised it’s CA and it’s not electric. ) But can’t seem to pump a tank of gas without an involved conversation with strangers.

I prefer to keep to myself, but always try to politely thank them for expressing interest.

When I do get a waive, I give ‘em…..
