Personally I fitted it for the looks not for the functionality, not a lot of drag at UK road speeds let’s be honest.

Took advantage of the sun to give it a well deserved clean. Love the way the Orange Fury paint comes alive in the full sun.

Managed to dry the car and get it back under the winter cover before the afternoon’s sleet hit

So I spent more than you would as it was a bit of trial and error getting the correct ballasts but roughly
35w ballast and lead 20 to 50 quid a side. May work out cheaper buying separately. I've actually seen a landrover discovery one that had the correct ballast part number, lead and bulb for 50 quod a side.
D3S Bulbs - i bought uprated ones Osram nightbreaks and these were 140.
All in all under 300 quid if you can fit it yourself.

So you need this ballast 35xt6-S-d3 and any d3s lead. You could order this from ebay.com and import it.
