After buying these and having them resprayed and absolutely fudged by the workshop with marks and the worst orange peel ever, it took me a week (around 50 hours) to get these looking good with a mirror finish.

Got the boot lid covered today, still have so much interior to finish.

Dynomat installed.

Dynoliner installed.

Complete. Yes I missed a clip. Yes it was in the boot. Yes it should have an OCD warning on it.

oh great the forums are back to breaking the images. Good luck seeing those without a magnifying glass.

I use HTML code on the thumb nails, that links to the full image in a new tab. Been doing this for 20 years on forums, this is the only place that strips out the code and leaves just the thumbnail, even if you toggle the BB code. It works fine in the preview and was working after they updated the software, so I don't know if it's some fancy addon they use to manage the images and it doesn't like what I do.

Would like to see the full pictures as I'm not sure what you're doing, and how. You're putting some sound deadner material between the lid and the liner?

I've put some material (not dynomat, but something cheaper from amazon.de) under the mat in the trunk, but have not thought about putting it under the lid. Does that have a noticeable effect in your experience? I wouldn't think so, so curious to hear the result.

I think what's happening is the forum is grabbing the thumbnail and accepting that as the image, so even when I select full image it's only giving me the full thumbnail image.

Certainly would have been a missed opportunity, so I'm glad you made the effort, because the night shot is flippin awesome!

If you're not sure which picture was better, let me help you.
It's the star ladden night sky, above your Mustang, you lucky Devil!

Why would anyone do that?
Obviously the owner preferes to carry a spare, rather than trust to a pump & foam
:inlove:

Besides, my 19 inch space saver doesn't fit the wheel well & the tie-down threaded spindle is too short.

He’s actually very clever, he’s now managed to get the 50/50 weight distribution spot on ... :cwl:

Not meaning to be insulting, but ... are you the owner?

At first I thought that photo was a photoshop joke, or from somewhere else (perhaps the business car of an Elvis impersonator in the US), but can't find it via google reverse image search, so did Bullitt66 actually take that photo in England?

It's one of those "after seeing it, you can't unsee it" images.

Think the wheel from automotive authority is the only "plug and play" wheel that's for sale ( https://nemesisuk.com/products/automotive-authority-ppstk-musgt15-kit).

Good God no!

Personally I think a continental kit looks dubious on 50s T bird, but on an S550???

Still someone has tooled up to make it and someone has bought it, fitted it and painted it. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

fYI I stumbled across it in this article on automotive monstrosities:

https://www.thesun.co.uk/motors/490...ns-that-are-almost-too-ridiculous-to-believe/

And no I’m not normally a Sun reader (being a Scouser) but the time worm that is the internet just presents click bait and, well you know how it is...

I hope it raised a smile. It certainly did with me
