Washed mine also, however my wash literally consisted of getting the car wet and wiping it with a sponge and some car shampoo. Downloaded the sync 3.4 software from cyanlabs so will be installing that on a longer drive over the weekend, along with hopefully doing the headlights

Not exactly today but last Saturday, the 1st track outing of the year - a very chilly Lydden Hill. Not been there before but we’ll be going back - great little circuit and superb fun lumping around in the Mustang.

How does it hold up on track regarding temperatures etc? Keep thinking about giving mine a chance to stretch its legs albeit I'd need a loud day, my only concerns are mainly brake temperatures/fade and diff temps.

Hiya

Not had any temperature issues at all but has only had maybe 4 outings starting last year.

Brakes are StopTech drilled rotors along with ducting from where the fog lamps were.
Gearbox oil was replaced with Royal Purple but no additional cooling yet.
Diff is now a Wavetrack, also with no additional cooling yet.
I will chat to GT101 if I do start to notice anything too hot in those areas.
Surprisingly the exhaust measured 97db on Saturday with valves closed - it’s an Xforce Varex system - long tube headers with hi-flow cats into a 3” system comprising double H pipe and valved back boxes. I’ve had a set of muffled tips made up incase it trips on a 98db day. It’s wonderfully loud with valves open but the Varex boxes are miraculous at quietening down once the valves are closed.

They really are so much fun on the track - more thrilling than my previous Mini JCW and BMW M240i and more manageable for me than my M2 - that has too much power for my skill lol.

Cheers

Benno

Sync 3.4 update done. Looks neater but haven't really noticed a huge improvement over the sync 3, although mine was fairly up to date so possibly not as big an improvement as it might be to some. The maps should be more current though and it does look a bit more modern. 35W headlight harnesses are being modified next week, seeing as they're being done FOC I can't really rush it :like:
