I’ve found that if you provoke it in the right way, and with the correct inputs, it will give you quite a bit of freedom :like:

Mines laid up (I SORN’d it at the end of the year), but the other local one I see dropping my daughter off for work likely won’t be going anywhere today (it’s down the bottom of an un gritted private road) :

That’s mostly frost following a damp foggy night that froze (our snow from earlier in the week has mostly gone).

A little warmer than it has been :

Just about caught on my own CCTV - standard ‘frosty weather right turn into the street driving the wife’s car procedure‘ … :giggle:

She doesn’t seem to find it as entertaining as I do … ? 🤷‍♂️

Fun y how our partners don't find it entertaining haha. .ind you i wouldn't play about with the car if she was in it and certainly not her car. Dead man walking heh heh. I've had the stang do a lot of wheel hopping this past couple weeks at slow speed as it scrabbles for grip out of junctions but this time it just went sideways and thought oo-er that's a bit different! Quick opposite lock and ease off the loud pedal and all good.

Pretty cool ctek screen, i stupidly did buy into that GT-R itch and it's hooked up to the ctek and has been since mid November but I have no idea if the unit I have does the whole app thingy, not that I'd use it tbh. Just check the unit when I'm in the garage.

Steeda and J&M kit sorted out my hop :like:

The CTEK screenshot is from the sense unit. My CTEK charger is about 20 years old, but I (fairly) recently put a sense on both my summer and winter cars just so I can keep an eye on the one being used the least.

I didn’t know you had finally got a GTR - any pictures ? :sunglasses:

I'd never noticed the wheel hop (if that's what i was getting) cause i obviously don't drive it hard enough out of the corners in the dry but it was bucking and the driveline judder was eyeball rattling when I was trying to provoke it on the ice at like 10mph. Don't think the PS4 tyres appreciated it either lol. Silly of me really.

Ah i see the sense is an add on, pretty neat 😎

Yeah i stupidly bought the GTR as I figured now or never, 1 previous UK owner, pretty stock mechanically bar exhaust and OEM boost restrictor removed so it's almost as powerful as the Mustang 🐎 it's got Tein coilovers so lowered ( i had to raise it) and solid as fck which isn't handy on crap roads. Seats are mega comfortable, best I've ever had in a car. Bought may 23 and June / July was when the Mustang started it's merry p0024 games. Jealously maybe?

Dashboard, nismo dials Speedo converted to mph so i use about a third of it lol. Stock ecu so limiter is still 8k rpm it iwill pull hard to that

Finally fit the Flowmaster Outlaw axle-backs. Great job by GT101 again in short notice.
Sounds amazing but don’t think I can go near any airports with all the drone:crackup:

Forgot to take a picture of it installed but will take one next time I remember.

Got the low fob battery warning so got those changed asap. What a pain in the fingers that job is. Just about broke my nails failing to get it split open, g/friend managed it then ping the key out the way (easy TBF) then lever the board off the top of the clamp shell. New batteries then snap it all together again and test it. Grrrr, i should likely do the other fob as well I suppose. *This is a pre facelift model so maybe later robs easier.

Before all that I'd washed (badly) and have it a quick polish. Damn those water marks

Try this stuff.

Just dry the car then spray on a small amount of this and polish off. No water marks and a fabulous finish.

Moist Microfibre cloths I find work well, just keep rinsing and ringing them out. Even on a coldish day they always seem to work well.
When you wash them NEVER use fabric softener in the machine or they wont work. Tumble dry them if you have one and if decent quality will last you years.

I have persil non bio so that should be good yeah? Daft question though, i presume washing the microfibre that's got polish / wax on it ain't gonna mess up the washing machine? I really don't want to have shiny clothes nor i suspect will her goodself want her washing messed up. Asking for a friend 🤣. Normally i just chuck the cloths when theyve been used a few times.

Biological is probably better, just put them in hot (60c) and no it wont muck up the machine.
I do mine about once a month and she never knows I have used the washing machine.
