As before, it is not a requirement, it is a recommendation in the UK, just like brake fluid and AC servicing. Nothing to do with having the last word, just the reality.Now you are trying to put words in my mouth … lol
I know you like having the last word, so here is mine :
I didn’t swap the plugs due to mileage, I swapped them due to age / time in position.
As a further consideration and as I am still under warranty - what would happen if I had a warranty claim that in some way related to plugs / head threads / ignition issues if I haven’t followed Ford U.K.s schedule (as that’s where we live) ?
That’s a discussion I would rather not have with them …

Ford extended warranty (which is what it is after the base warranty up to 3 years expires) doesn't cover spark plugs as they are classed as consumables. If you had ignition issues they wouldn't be covered and nor would damage caused by removing them.
Your car is very much a garage queen, mine just gets driven daily and so we have very different priorities.
