What did you do to your UK S550 Mustang Today

The only thing I can see missing is Ullapool to Lochinver, which is my favourite piece of driving road on the whole NC500, it's a sweeping road that just flows so well. Plus, you can stop at the pie shop which is world-famous.

problem is there are so many roads up there that are amazing but they are in different directions and you couldn't do them in a single pass for example
kinlochewe to Achnasheen
Achnasheen to Garve
Achnasheen to Strathcarron
Garve to Ullapool

However, for heading in one direction clockwise I'd say the routes planned are pretty awesome and heading up past Scourie More is an epic road, some less good bits but when it opens up and it's wonderful. Some stunning beaches up there too. Tbh, it's how much time can you give and afford rather than picking bad roads lol. I'd miss out the Stoer / Drumbeg road though, that's a shocker in a smallish car and something like the mustang doesn't bare thinking about.

@Kristian87 yeah that looks like you've got the perfect road trip . Seaforth in Ullapool is great for er seafood haha (fish and chips awesome for me but you'll have that earlier in Applecross no?) also Arch Inn does good food too and has a brilliant beer garden on the loch front. I'm just north of Glasgow myself, could've met you on your overnighter here but these are strange for planning anything.
Glasgow is still in Tier 3 so different rules apply from rest of Scotland, Moray as well still in Tier 3 for another week. Bring your masks and cleanser and midge spray of course!

Arch Inn is where we are staying. Glad to hear the food is good as we were planning on going there anyway...you've reminded me I need to start booking places for dinner!

Ain't that the truth lol

I think we're squeezing in a good mix of driving and sightseeing. I'd happily go back every year, perhaps stick to one area, do some camping/walking etc. With so much driving, you miss out on taking in the scenery, spending half a day on the beach, that sorta thing.
