Ordered these from the USA - Hopefully no more crap lights once I get some decent D3s bulbs too:

OEM 10-19 Ford Mustang 35w Xenon Ballast HID Bulb Control Unit Light Module and cables
Definitely interested to see how this goes, something I'm looking at doing myself. Keep us posted!

sorry for my ignorance but what do these do?

I fitted diy HIDs to a car many years ago and these had an integrated ballast so I assume our cars already have one

is there an issue with stock lights?

We got the 25w ballast due to eu law stating we need headlight washers to run the 35w ballast that the US gets. Result us inferior lights!

I see you've got the American tail lights. Were they easy to swap? Are they plug & play?
It’s vinyl! Been on there for 3 years now and always look great. Hard to tell unless they are next to an oem red pair.

I paid for a set from somewhere in europe (about 30 euros), then made my own templates using some specific red vinyl, paid a wrapping place £20 to fit.

Great option if you just want to see what red lights look like, or if you can’t fork out £££ like me lol

What products are you using bud? The finish in this pic looks fantastic. :sunglasses:
Thanks :) it’s mostly yumcars products actually this time, used their shampoo which is excellent, i then dried the bodywork with a big plush drying towel and a product called “finish spray exterior” by koch chemie, which is great for avoiding watermarks. Pre wash snow foam i used was citrus magic by KKD.

Yumcars does a great wheel cleaner, rubber cleaner and tire dressing. Highly recommended. I use the official “wheel woolies” to take care of the wheel washing. Yumcars do their own genuine wheel woolies too.

As per my signature, adams polishes do pretty much everything you would need and i’ve used most of their stuff, good quality and good value. H2O guard gloss (spray sealant) is an excellent product from them - that what i put on last time and the gloss and protection is insane

Can talk for hours about detailing haha so just shout if you need anything!

Renewed my insurance for the Bullitt. Used money supermarket.com to reduce my premium from £553 (A-plan Thatcham) to £240 (General Accident/Aviva).

It's proof I don't understand the insurance market at all. In the process of getting quotes from A-plan, reducing the mileage per year from 6000 to 1000, reducing the value of the car from £48K to 45K etc only reduced the premium by £23!

Now with GA the annual mileage is 4000, better cover all around to include legal etc.

What have I learned: Loyalty doesn't pay, shop around for insurance 20-26 days in advance of needing to renew your policy.

Mileage is too low - higher will make it cheaper within reason !

Mine was £265 back in August so you're spot on

mine needs a good detail not been done since Jan time so here's a shout if you want :p
Haha, if I had the space to do it, I'd gladly wash it for you! As it stands I live in a flat, and all my detailing kit is at my parents an hours drive away! Not ideal, but hoping in the next couple of years I'll get this double garage I've been dreaming of
