so another bit of carbon arrived went to go and fit it forgot i'd ran out of 3m tape so had to order more should be here tomorrow thank god for amazon prime.

Also having windows tinted tomorrow and rear lights made red. So get that done in afternoon bring it home give it a good wash/clean so the spoiler has got a clean surface to stick to and we're away.

just need a few more carbon bits then i'm done

Today I did more tests using the non standard vacuum line routing on the gt350 manifold.
The results are very positive. I have managed to return the braking performance back to stock and got rid of the massive over sensitive on / off braking. It has also leaned out it tick over reducing the need to run an artificially rich fuel map. It doesn’t look as neat in the engine bay but it works!


Note RHD 2017 cars must have a different brake servo to lhd cars. Also I suspect that the brake servo changed for us somewhere in 16/17 as Gibbo ran this very manifold using ford recommended vacuum routing and didn’t report any strange braking changes.

good news 3m tape has arrived
bad news its late and i haven't eaten yet so not going to get chance to wash car and fit spoiler until tomorrow afternoon. putting it on dyno packs up at unit tomorrow morning so see how this tune has helped it.

In other news i've tinted the rear 3 windows and turned the rear lights red.

even through tint the oranges are that fucking bright makes you realise just how offensively bright they are from the factory.

I got rid of the ugly number plate holders and used sticky pads.

For the Eagle eyed I have reverted my plates to legal as the police in my area seem to be cracking down on dodgy plates, a couple of my mates have been done, with one going to court over it!

What tint did you use for a rear lights? What's the quality? Does it cover the whole bars surface, without leaving white/clear patches?

its an avery transparent vinyl don't know which one but there's only really 3 types but it is very thick

it doesn't cover the entire bar on all sides because of the shape its impossible to do it without making cuts on the actual lights which they're so soft plastic you don't want to do. also helps ensuring that the orange comes through nice and strong as although it comes through the red as orange the red does obviously reduce its intensity. so we cut it to be similar to the anchor room kit that just covers the visible parts of the bars.

I wanted a 350 track pack and found a Chinese copy in gloss black for £100 from a thread on here but it looks like it needs drilling.
